Chrystie R. Beasley was born and raised in Gordonsville, VA. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Virginia State University and has been working in the Criminal Justice field for over a decade. 

 

Chrystie grew up in an environment where communication was lacking. However, she always believed that ‘communication leads to community.' With the support and encouragement of her family, and as a tribute to her late mother, The Avis Beasley Community Outreach Group was founded in 2017.

Chrystie hopes that the work accomplished by the group will help to better open up the lines of communication within families. She also hopes that the Center will provide an opportunity for the community to become more cohesive.
